Horses have shaped my life for as long as I can remember. What started as a love for riding grew into a deep respect for horsemanship, the partnership between horse and rider, and the lessons horses teach us about patience, trust, and resilience. I believe good horsemanship is built from the ground up — through consistency, empathy, and doing right by the horse first. My passion lies in creating spaces where riders of all ages and backgrounds feel supported, encouraged, and challenged to grow, both in and out of the saddle. Through Cattle Country Xtreme Cowboy Racing, I’m proud to help build a community that values connection over competition, education over ego, and heart over hype. This isn’t just a sport to me — it’s a way to bring people together through shared respect for horses and country values.

I’m a go-hard horse girl. As long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with horses — but for years, I never quite felt like I’d found where I belonged. I bounced between disciplines, searching for my thing. That all changed when I found the cowhorse world. I discovered a community that felt right and realised western was absolutely my style. I fell in love with chasing cows, hunting down the beast, and riding a clever horse that can think for himself. I’d never loved a sport quite like that before. Cowboy racing gives me that same feeling. The adrenaline, the flow, the way your horse hunts the obstacles and stays mentally stimulated — while still needing to be happy, sound, and willing to score well. That’s what lights me up. Horse welfare comes first, always, and I love that this sport truly honours that. To me, cowboy racing is one of a kind. It brings together elements from so many disciplines into one dynamic, exciting sport. I’m still only just starting out myself, but I’m all in — and I’m excited to go on this journey with you all.

I have been riding since 2017, mainly mustering our cattle on horseback. But I wanted to get into a horse sport that I could do with my horse that was fun and exciting, so I tried Extreme Cowboy Racing and now I’m hooked. I have been competing in Extreme Cowboy Racing since 2021 and in that time, I have competed at the State, National and World level, although not always a champion, my horses and I ride our own race, achieving something new every time. I have met so many lovely people locally and across the world all with the same passion for Extreme Cowboy Racing. My goal is to see the sport grow in Queensland and across the Country. I love watching new people try the sport with their horses and seeing the smiles they have when they go over an obstacle together, especially for the first time. Our sport builds confidence for both the horse and the rider. I have been a member of the Bundaberg & District Extreme Cowboy Racing Club since it started in 2021. I have represented the Club in many Committee roles as Treasurer, Secretary and Show Secretary since 2024 and am currently the Treasurer and Show Secretary. I have also been on the General Committee of the Southern Cross Xtreme Cowboy Racing Club based in Maryborough, the Club that started the Sport here in Queensland. I am committed to the Cattle Country Xtreme Cowboy Racing Club and the sport of Extreme Cowboy Racing and invite everyone to give it a go, you won’t be sorry.

I am the current President of the Bundaberg & District Extreme Cowboy Racing Club and have a strong passion for the sport of Extreme Cowboy Racing. I grew up on horseback and have been around horses most of my life, but I have never experienced a horse sport that is as much fun, exciting and rewarding as Extreme Cowboy Racing. The combination of horsemanship, obstacles and the partnership between horse and rider is what I enjoy most about the sport. I am a certified EXCA Judge and regularly judge competitions for both the Bundaberg & District Extreme Cowboy Racing Club and the Maryborough based club. I take pride in judging fairly and consistently, with a strong focus on safety and the integrity of the sport. I especially enjoy supporting riders who are new to Extreme Cowboy Racing and am always happy to offer guidance, encouragement and assistance wherever I can. I am committed to supporting my Club and the continued growth of the sport and I am proud to also support and judge for the new Cattle Country Xtreme Cowboy Racing Club.
